The Cherbourg company CERAP Prévention, expert in nuclear risk preventionthrough its subsidiary NüSAM, was awarded a major contract to support Nawah Energy Company, a subsidiary of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), during planned plant shutdowns Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, United Arab Emirates.
Cerap Prévention will carry out this market with partners in the United Arab Emirates and with its shareholder Endel.

CERAP Prévention and its units are present throughout the life cycle of nuclear installations (design, operation, decommissioning) and support the main players in the sector in the fields of radiation protection, nuclear safety, instrumentation and nuclear measurement, project management and training in health and safety.
Founded in 1988, the company is 51% capitalized by its two co-founders and by Endel, the French leader in nuclear services and industrial maintenance.
NÜSAM, a subsidiary of CERAP Prévention in the United Arab Emirates, carries the service activities of CERAP Prévention in the Middle East. NÜSAM wants to be a central point of contact for decision-makers in the region by offering a wide range of specialized and tailor-made services for large-scale nuclear projects: from engineering and works to maintenance and dismantling facilities.
